Glenys Hunt

Glenys Hunt was born and brought up in Liverpool, attending Liverpool Institute High School for Girls. She left school after A levels and trained as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer, firstly in industry, then in hospital pathology laboratories, specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

In 1988, Glenys left the NHS and studied for a law degree, gaining a 2:1 LLB from Lancaster University in 1991. She then attended Chester College of Law to undertake the Solicitors Final Examination course, passing this with 2nd class honours in 1992.

Glenys trained with J Keith Park in St Helens and Liverpool, qualifying in December 1994 and the specialised in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence work and worked in the North east for 3 years.

She joined Lees Lloyd Whitley in 1988 and is now a Partner and Team Leader for the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team.

Glenys is also the Chair of the Mersyside, Chester and North Wales Association of Women Solicitors, a member of the Liverpool (Children's) Research Ethics Committee, a member of the Liverpool Law Society Committee and a non-executive Director of a local training placement company, Scientiam. Glenys is also a Soroptomist.

Time permitting, Glenys enjoys her hobbies of walking, gardening, needlework and travelling the world.
