Fiona Blackburne

Fiona Blackburne heads the Administration Team that forms part of the Personal Injury Team specialising in claims for POA members arising out of accidents at work. This team, headed by Frank Rogers comprises 5 solicitors, 4 secretaries and 4 administrators. They have to process all new instructions from the association, assess their limition dates and complete all the IT work necessary before the papers can be reviewed by Frank or a member of his team.

In addition, the team that Fiona heads is responsible for monitoring:

· Court hearing dates
· Court deadlines
· The preparation of Tribunals
· Travel and accomodation needs for the team
· Processing and sorting medical records
· Enquiries recieved by telephon from the Legal Aid Committee, branch officials and members

The team also generally provide invaluable support to the Lawyers, allowing them where possible, to concentrate on the legal work you need us to do!

Fiona is married, has 2 sons and enjoys gardening, which she is passionate about.
