LEXCEL PMS are the Law Society’s Practice Management Standards, these focus much more on the effective management of the business and aim to ensure that any Law Firm that achieves this standard has put in place what is best described “management best practice”, i.e. Business Planning, Training Plans, File Audit, Continuous Improvement.

The retention of both the IiP and LEXCEL awards is based on a process of “continuous assessment and improvement”, with the choices being either a “full assessment” once every three years, or ongoing assessment on an annual basis. The Firm opted for an annual assessment as this would help us keep the standards up to date and ensure that we kept developing the Practice.

Since then being awarded the two Quality Standards, the Firm has been going through the process of maintaining our compliance by working to all the “best practice” standards and methods that we introduced as part of our journey towards recognition.

It is fair to say that much credit needs to be directed at you, our staff, for the support and commitment that you have shown in helping the Firm maintain its high standards.
